We have been very lucky to have been awarded a Community Asset Transfer of the
Ice House in The Royal Harbour, Ramsgate.
During the pandemic lock down, the completion of the Ice House transfer went ahead and we are now the proud custodians of Ramsgate’s Ice House. We would like to thank Thanet District Council for this amazing opportunity. We would also like to thank Direction Law who provided
the conveyancing for this transfer.
As the project progresses you will be hearing from our Young People and the adult
volunteers involved in the Ice Project.
Over the coming months we will be working hard to raise funds to renovate the
building to provide a community space that will house our Scout group headquarters,
a water sports centre, and community and conference space.
We love to provide young people and adults with opportunities to develop their life skills, to make lifelong friends and to go on adventures. With the Ice House as our base we will
continue providing these opportunities for many years to come.
