The Group Trustee play a vital role in the running of a Scout Group. trustees make decisions and carry out administrative tasks to ensure that the best quality Scouting can be delivered to young people in the Group.

Our trustees are elected each year comprising parents, local professionals and leaders within the group. The trustees have the responsibility for day to day running of the group including accounting, secretarial support and fund raising.

The trustees holds an Annual General Meeting, to which all parents are invited and encouraged to attend. We like to make this fun, so we usually incorporate a Quiz Night with the AGM in the interval. Often, the event is also used to make presentations of awards/certificates for our Young People.
